Managing Director

Simon established GFG in 2001 to assist a core group of clients with regard to finance requirements and investment opportunities in both shares and property. Simon continued to build the business offering quality service and knowledge in his field, and introduced other skilled staff to assist with the development of the business and client portfolios. Simon continues to assist clients with all finance and property needs, specializing in more complex residential and commercial finance and structures. Simon is well qualified in his field, and is an experienced investor himself.

Finance Manager

David has been working at GFG as a Mortgage Consultant for over ten years. He has developed a sound knowledge of the many lenders that are available and seeks to make the finance process as easy as possible. David's prime objective is to provide his clients with the highest level of personal service. He establishes long term relationships with his clients and assists them through the many different stages in the borrowing requirements. Many of David's clients have been referred by family or friends which is an endorsement of his focus on customer service.

Financial Planner

Hugh Sutterby is a qualified Financial Planner and assists clients with personal insurance such as Life Insurance, Income Protection, Trauma and TPD insurance, and also with Superannuation, Margin lending, Savings Plans and other investment advice. Hugh joined the GFG team at the start of August 2008, after working with a major bank for 2 years. Hugh is an Authorised Representative of Professional Investment Services.

Leigh has worked in the Commercial Finance sector for 8 years with a major bank in Geelong, and joined the GFG team in early 2011. Leigh is very skilled and experienced across a broad range of finance, from freehold lending, cashflow lending, business finance and finance to purchase property in Self-Managed Superannuation Funds. Leigh is highly regarded in solving top end finance solutions for business and investors alike.

Vehicle & Equipment Finance Manager

Cliff has vast experience working in the Finance Industry. After 15 years operating his own Finance Broking business, Cliff joined the Commercial Finance department of Geelong Finance Group specialising in finance for Motor Vehicles ,Trucks, Plant and  Equipment. With his finance industry knowledge he is able to found a solution to your finance needs no matter how big or small.

Amanda has been with GFG since early 2006. Amanda assists Simon with the running of the business and also assists with the loan application process. Amanda completed a Certificate 3 in Business Administration when she first joined the team, and more recently completed a Diploma in Business Management. Amanda is highly regarded in the finance administration field, with excellent knowledge and high service standards.

Administration Assistant

Cristina joined the team January 2010. She assists David Lolait with Residential Lending applications and administration. She also works closely alongside Hugh Sutterby being administration manager in the Financial Planning Cell as GFG. Cristina has completed a Certificate 3 in Business Administration.

Natasha Brand  
Broker Assistant

Natasha has been with GFG since early 2007, and provides quality service and advice to brokers within GFG and clients. Natasha works with the brokers and lenders to ensure the finance process runs smoothly, and keeps clients updated every step of the way. Natasha has completed Certificate 3 Business Administration and a Diploma in Financial Services (Mortgage Broking).

Lia has been working with GFG since November 2012, and is the first port of call for our clients. With her years of experience in Administration and a strong customer service focus, Lia is a real asset to the team. Lia is currently completing a Certificate IV in Business.
Bianca Jarvis

Administration Assistant

Bianca joined the team in early 2013; she’s the friendly voice at the end of the line greeting callers and the face of the lobby most days and provides administrative support. She comes to us from a medical administration background and holds Cert IV in Business Management. Bianca is currently completing a Diploma in Financial Services and learning about the many facets of the business.

Andrew has been at GFG since February 2013 to further assist clients and the public of services provided. He contributes to media releases, publications, promotional material, events and the GFG website. This gives clients and the community a wider knowledge of financial opportunities and beneficial financial services available. Andrew is currently completing a Bachelor of Management in Business Law, majoring in Media and Communication.
